Finalmente è fatta
Dopo TANTE ore di coding, sono finalmente riuscito a rendere online questo sito. Un grande ringraziamento va a Hux per il suo ottimo boilerplate. In ogni caso, questa è solo una bozza non ufficiale di un possibile Github.io dell’Istituto Tecnico Aeronatico “Arturo Ferrarin”.
Questo sito riporta alcune pagine del sito ufficiale della scuola, ma non vuole essere assolutamente un plagio. In caso di problemi di ogni tipo, non esiterò a rimuovere l’intero sito da Github Pages.
A cosa servirebbe?
Beh, in realtà puoi fare (quasi) ogni cosa tu possa fare con un normale sito, con qualche funzione di Github in più, come jekyll, che sto usando proprio in questo momento.
Riguardo gli studenti?
Cosa potrebbe significare Github Pages per gli studenti? Bene, innanzitutto un nuovo modo di approcciarsi al web stesso. Possono imparare ad effettuare commits, ed una volta fatto, aggregarsi all’organizzazione Github e finalmente rendere questo sito utile.
Progetti scolastici
I progetti da poter aggiungere sono molti. Da semplici articoli giornalistici ad intere applicazioni, libri, siti web, progetti tridimensionali, piantine geometriche, tavole di navigazione aerea, ma anche foto, video, musica… Insomma, un po’ di tutto.

Well. I did it
After hours of nerding, I finally managed to get this site working. Dunno completely why, but I did. Huge thanks to Hux for his incredibly well-made base. Without him I’d probably still trying to mess with html syntax. Anyway, this is just an unofficial draft of a possibile new Arturo Ferrarin’s Github.io.
What to put in here?
Well, actually you can do (almost) whatever you can do with a normal site, plus some exceptional Github features. Like using jekyll, as I am doing right now.
What about students?
What could Github Pages means to the students? Well, first of all a new way to approach to the web and the internet itself. They could learn how to push commits, and once done, they could join the organization itself and make this site finally useful.
School projects
The projects you may add are a lot. From simple newspaper articles to entire applications, books, websites, 3D projects, geometric plants, aerial charts, but also photos, videos, music… So yeah, a bit of everything.

Moreover in the top right there’s a three-lines button. Click it to see all the primary menus.
